Lilly Pulitzer Gianna Caftan

One piece of clothing that Lilly Pulitzer is known for is the long, loose caftan.

It is the perfect coverup over a swimsuit. Still sexy, with long slits up the side, not too loose so that your figure isn't swallowed up but with the kind of coverage that modest girls like myself appreciate. I'll leave the teeny bikinis and barely there coverups to my teenage daughter and her friends thank you very much.

I picked this little number up when I was in Florida recently.

I had considered buying a long cover up for years but never did. I have to tell you, I love this, and will definitely buy more. I feel so Elizabeth Taylorish in the 70's lounging about in my caftan - and it goes so well with my glam new pink and green sandals!
