Claridges

In just a few short weeks my husband and I will be staying at Claridge's Hotel in London.

We have not stayed there before but it is in the heart of the West End, so will be in easy walking distance of Bond Street, Covent Garden, Hyde Park and all of our usual haunts.

I'll post pictures of our actual room when we get back, but here are some images from the web to give you an idea of the decor - it's very British!

We have booked a table at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant for our first night. We'll be a little jet lagged so eating at the hotel is very convenient.

  1. That hotel looks so beautiful! I am sure you're getting excited about your upcoming trip! It's been 10 years since I was in London and I am dreaming of going back for a visit.

A great big THANK YOU for the lovely swap goodies! The bunnies and Easter goodies were all so cute. I love the Liberty of London note pads too! I will email you some pictures. Thanks again so much!

  4. Let us know how you like Claridges. I always stay at The Connaught, but do not like the new decor. Can't wait to hear about your trip. Be sure to visit my favorite bookstore, Heywood Hill.
